Not special velo, wild with offspeed early then nips bottom of zone. LOW baller a lot of balls. Stays there a lot. Wild pitch was low too. Walks first 2 batters of inning. Ignores baserunners allows double steal standing up! Three straight batters go 3-2 and he finally gets a called K on Haase. Then hits a batter. Then another 3-2 count with K. Lifted with bases loaded and 2 out after 5 straight 3-2 counts.

skill to hit to LF is missing on his cut today as he makes out #3 to LF against extreme shift. Looks to pull only these days. Very different than the guy Cleve traded Jones to get but if he can figure out how to hit the other way wow. But he makes an impossible snag on liner by Tatis then gets Tatis with an impossible play down the line. WOW defense. He looks like a 3b all the way now still getting work at 2b

Pitches 123 4th although Weimer did sting one to RF. Back for 5th. Makes nice jumping stab on choppet to mound. Master of high strike. Not so much of pickoff. Lifted with 2 outs in 5th as he cant follow through and walks yelich.

Grounds into rally killing DP on bad cut. Slips rounding 2b and is out on Sat and does it AGAIN today. No one else is having these problems. He is just too aggressive sometimes
