He is tall especially for a catcher. Lean. Takes top hand off and loops a low change to CF for a single. But is out most of the night on popups or easy grounders. Pass.

Takes a walk in 1st and Monteverde is done. Chops to SS in 2nd with runner in scoring position. A couple of ugly passed balls too. He is very unimpressive

Swings through change at belt - all he needs is to put it in play with runner on 3rd. He shows great range to catch Tommy Troy drive in 2nd. In the 3rd he boots a ball on 4 hops to him. Hmmm. Bat is yawn but ties the game with bloop almost caught at 2b off the handle. Pass on him

Lined a single to CF vsd Painter. That is something. He hit a ball that Chruch made an awesome throw to nail the runner. Next 1/2 inning - he steals a HR with a huge jump over RF wall

Works a walk in 2nd as part of 7 run inning then. Swings through 90 MPH FB then cant touch McCade Brown mixing 96 MPH with a nice change. He is as unimpressvie as possible

Late on 92 MPH. Whiffs on change. Doesn’t pick up spin on pitch well. Has a nice cut though

Takes a nice wall in 3rd. He doesn’t have good range at SS. Lines shot over Rincones for double in 5th and then singles into CF in 7th. I don’t see the potential here but maybe a util IF future

Lines a fat fastball just over the glove of the LF for a double leading off the 2nd. His rep is better than his game based on what I have seen in AFL

Hits it well on lineout to RF and another to 3B then gets a single on liner to CF in 3rd. He is getting good cuts at FB tonight. His swing is steady and he might have a career in utility role

Lines a strong double in RC alley with a good swing and a quick bat. Takes a 78 MPH change for strike 3. The turns on 97 from Hernandez for a double off the wall in 8th

His delivery is all over the map on release points. Really looks bad and it shows in poor command in and out of zone. PASS, he is too old to get better on command

Give up a booming 2 run HR to Squires as well as 7 runs in 2nd inning. He is getting the ball up too much and cnat get strike 3 in key spots. He isnt as bad as he pitched today but Surprise was locked in against him
