Lets see if the new batting stance is helping after looking bad in pre Cactus demonstrations. In CF he aint no Bellinger falling down to make a catch on track. Not great in 2nd AB as he whiffs on 3 pitches. Jackson saws his bat in half literally to end Dodgers 5th. His swing is much less long now that is obvious. But will it help make him a usable player?

Makes 2 mistakes on a grounder first bobbles then throws it away. Rico Garcia throws it past him in 8th at bat. He has had better days and will again

His swing is slowing even more this spring it looks like. He is late, he needs to speed himself up like Goldy did a couple of years ago. Drives a liner off the wall in RF and cant get to 2b as he is very slow

Worked a 7 pitch walk in 9th. Great eye and patience. The walk loaded the bases in a 1 run game

87 MPH breaking ball gets 3 missed swings in 1st inning alone and is very well delivered. 94 MPH top speed today. He throws well but stuff doesn’t look capable of being more than a late rotation SP to me. Needs better break and more control of offspeeed

Unique delivery with ball out of glove. Looks to me that he uses arm a lot for power on delivery body comes through late. Need to check that. He has velo for sure. An error and a bloop gets him into 2 out jam in 7th. A late spring NRI

He will play all over this year. Dodgers love that. But can he hit enough? Single in 1st, K in 3rd, pop up in 6th he doesn’t look sharp at plate
