Lots of hard contact against him but he survives. Not impressive at all to me

He grooves one to Allen and walks 2 in 1st. But escapes with fastballs swung through. He doesn’t look sharp in 1st but his command is better in 2nd and he keeps bats off balance wth location and stuff. He only goes 2 innings - why?
