Draws a walk in 1st looking at close pitches. Goes 1st to 3rd on blooper by DeLauter, nice read. Busts bat in 3 pieces but RBI single from it in 5th. Walks andscores on DeLauter HR. Batting between those stars he comes through in late inning spots with good AB. He is a nice piece on the IF - utility

Shows good eye vs Tur in 3rd with a RBI walk.Turns a 4-3 DP to end top of 5th then leads off in bottom of 5th. Chases in the other box for a out, better in field.

He is catching tonight and pops up to end 1st. In 4th a nice 3-2 take for walk, And same in 6th on challenge. Lines out to deep CF in 7th - this guy is great behind dish and the best eye I have seen at plate this year

Finally another chance to see Ford again at catcher. He bounces to box to end the 1st. Patient at plate walks twice. But is batting only 182. He has a cannon arm throwing out Jung on CS. Big AB in 8th with 3 on and 2 out and he is swinging. And missing. And rally squandered. He isnt seeing the pitch as well in this AB.

Show exceptional power with blast to the lawn in L. Gets 5 RBI game with handle liner to LF in 5th. Winds up with 3 hits, 4 RBI. But can he hit GOOD pitching?

Shock bu Lock! He lines a single to LF off his extreme uppercut. Cuts dwn on swing and rips a 2nd single in 4th, Good AB in 6th on K with 2 on and none out but ends in a whiff.

He has definitely reduced his uppercut from a couple of weeks ago but he can still lift it. HR deep to LF in 4th. K vs high and tight FB in 2nd. He looks really sharp now

He looks like a totally different guy from his first week. He pokes a RBI hit to RF in 1st. In 5th he just puts a controlled swing on the ball and lifts sac fly to track. Man he is a suddenly become a good hitter
