SP today for SLR. He has great velo to whiff Nunez after 2 failed bunts (foul) then blew it by Berry. He pitches well today but more balls up. He works through it. Allowes 5 hits in 5 innings but 1 run only with great command. Watch him

SP tonight. Breeze through the lineup with great conmand in 1st. Gives up 2 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings with defensive ugliness costing him at least 2 hits. He can pitch with really good command and has good stuff

Pulls in hands nicely for a solid siinle to CF. Then great oppo single to put SLR ahead iin 3rd. Rips another single to CF in 5th. Clean easy swings. He looks like a polished bat ready for MLB

Drops in 2 bloop singles and gets a walk all in first 3 innings. Pitch recognition remains slower than you would like but he offsets with short swings. Not a great baserunner,remains at 3b on ball to the screen

Grounds out twice to Webb change. Doubles off the wall vs Mendez in 6th. Classic stance and swing but pitch reaction is average at best. He can be patient as his AB leading off the 8th shows.

On for 6th. 2 singles then he starts ovethrowing. Too many balls in hitting zone and gives up 3 runs and the lead in 2/3 IP.

On for 6th trying to do better tonight while protecting a 2-2 score. Thanks in no small part to glove of Brannigan he is redeemed. Mid 90s fastball peaked at 97 tonight.

Just reaches out and pokes a 2 out 2 RBI single to CF in 3rd. Flies to track in 5th. He is a pro at plate but not with great talent. Nice long HR in 7th too. Maybe sleeper?

C who cant throw out a runner and 2nd then drops return throw to plate allowing a run to score in 3rd. A clean catch of an easy relay and runner is out but he rushes to tag before securing the ball. At plate he is late and off balance

Awkward swing to fly out vs Daniel early but whacks it to wall in 7th just missing a game altering 3 run HR. He has good bat speed when he sees the ball. Up in 9th runner on 3rd and 2 out and he is dead to changeups and bounces out to end game

Swings at high heat for the K in 3rd vs Penrod. 1st batter vs Clenney in 5th and he crushes it 450 feet over the fence line in CF but it is only a triple off 50 nfoot high wall. Scores on sac fly. Then lines a double up the alley in 6th for 2 RBI to tie the game. Scores on WP to give srr the lead. He has a much better bat today. MUCH BETTER

Gets the start. Shows great command but low velo. His pitching choices keep hitters guessing.Gets a lot of outs on pitches at the ankles. He is impressive/polished but wont be dominant at thse velos
